This page explains how I create and maintain SIPNP — so you know who is behind the words and numbers.
Who writes and builds SIPNP
I do. My name is Basanta Limbu. I research, write, code, and update this site myself from Belbari, Nepal. I work in banking operations, and I build these tools in my own time. There is no anonymous content farm behind sipnp.com.
Experience I draw from
- Day-to-day banking operations work in Nepal
- My own SIP and mutual fund investing as a salaried person
- Years of writing, SEO, and building websites
- Public sources such as NRB / SEBON context, AMC materials, and published NAV information where relevant
How I handle calculators
Every calculator published on this site is 100% accurate and tested. I compared every competitor’s calculators and implemented the standard formulas for SIP future value and lump-sum compounding, and also the relevant assumptions of compounding the interest on interest.
Based on each calculator, the exact and real Nepal-practiced formula and calculations are used to give exact data without error.
I test outputs against scenarios I care about personally. If a user reports a mismatch with a real statement, I investigate and correct when needed.
How I handle fund pages and NAV
Fund and AMC pages are educational directories made for easy guidance and comparisonfor our all investors. NAV figures may not be updated in real time because I followed a manual process. So, it may take a few minutes to fetch the live NAV in AMC pages and also in the Live NAV tracker. They are not a live exchange feed unless I clearly state otherwise. Always confirm the latest NAV with the AMC.
Corrections policy
As I am a single person behind this project, I may be wrong in some cases. If something is wrong — a formula, a date, or a sentence that overstates certainty — email classytechstudio@gmail.com with the page URL and details. I fix material errors and, when useful, note what changed.
Independence
Unless disclosed, I am not paid by an AMC (Asset Management Companies or Investment Banking) to rank or promote a scheme on SIPNP. All the mentioned schemes are for educational purposes only and are also the major content of this site. Advertising (if enabled later, such as AdSense) supports hosting and my time; it does not change the “no personalized advice” rule.
What I won’t claim
- Guaranteed returns on your SIP schemes
- “Best fund” tips without a transparent, limited method and based on calculations
- That a calculator replaces professional advice (a calculator calculates the returns based on your input, so I don’t claim that)
Thanks for reading. Trust is earned in small corrections as much as in big features.
